1.2. Activity and clinical lead

The website provides information exclusively on outpatient urological surgery related to vasectomy, short frenulum and phimosis. It is not a general urology clinic. Clinical lead for Urology: Dr Ramón Ibáñez, specialist in Urology.

1.3. Healthcare advertising

Healthcare Advertising Register number displayed by Askabide: R.P.S. 131/24. Healthcare advertising messages and substantial changes are subject to the relevant prior administrative authorisation in the Basque Country. Displaying the number does not replace that obligation or authorise messages different from those approved.

1.4. Purpose, price and availability

The website provides general information and direct contact. It does not diagnose, prescribe, triage emergencies, conclude automatic contracts or provide online booking.

The published prices are: vasectomy €610, frenuloplasty €610 and phimosis surgery/circumcision €810. For vasectomy, the price covers the described process: procedure-related assessment, operation, routine follow-up and semen analyses at around 2, 4 and 6 months when indicated, with no supplement for those checks. Frenuloplasty and phimosis prices apply when assessment confirms that the named procedure is indicated. Any unforeseen or different intervention would be assessed and explained before it is carried out.

The waiting-time commitment is to offer at least one available date within 30 days after medical suitability is confirmed. It does not require the patient to accept that date and does not override postponement because of patient choice, contraindication, illness, force majeure or clinical safety.

1.5. Medical information and emergencies

Content is general guidance reviewed against clinical sources and service protocols. It does not replace medical history, examination, testing, informed consent or individual instructions.

vasectomia.eus does not provide emergency care. Sudden severe pain, heavy bleeding, high fever, difficulty urinating, general deterioration or foreskin trapped behind the glans require emergency assessment: call 112 or attend an emergency department.

1.6. Intellectual property, external links and availability

Unless otherwise stated, the website’s texts, design, code, illustrations, logos and original elements are owned by ASKABIDE KLINIKA S.L. or used with permission. Links to official bodies, WhatsApp and other sites open outside vasectomia.eus and are governed by the third party’s terms.

Askabide aims to keep the site available and current but cannot guarantee permanent absence of errors, interruptions or attacks. Content may be changed or withdrawn to correct, update or comply with legal requirements.

1.7. Governing law

The website is governed by applicable Spanish and European law. Disputes will be handled by the competent bodies without restricting mandatory consumer or data-protection rights.

2.2. Data processed when visiting

The website has no forms, user accounts, behavioural advertising or third-party analytics. The server and hosting provider may record minimum technical data such as IP address, date, requested resource, user agent and security events to provide the service, prevent abuse, investigate incidents and meet legal obligations.

2.3. Data processed when contacting Askabide

If you call, email or use WhatsApp, Askabide processes the information you provide to respond, organise assessment or surgery, manage healthcare and meet healthcare, accounting, legal and clinical-record obligations. Health data are specially protected and should only be communicated when necessary.

The legal grounds may include steps requested before a service, healthcare provision, compliance with legal obligations, protection of legal rights and consent where applicable. The website does not make automated decisions or create commercial profiles.

2.4. Recipients and WhatsApp

Data may be handled by contracted service providers under confidentiality obligations and disclosed where a legal, healthcare, judicial or vital-interest requirement applies. Askabide does not sell personal data.

WhatsApp is an external service. Activating its link moves communication to its provider’s terms and infrastructure and may involve international processing. For initial contact, share only essential administrative information and avoid photographs or clinical reports unless the team expressly requests them through an appropriate channel.

2.5. Retention and rights

Administrative enquiries are retained as long as necessary to respond and meet responsibilities. If a healthcare relationship begins, records are retained for the periods required by healthcare law and professional liability. You may request access, rectification, erasure, objection, restriction and portability where applicable by writing to Askabide or the DPO.

You may also lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency.

3. Cookie policy

In the published configuration, vasectomia.eus does not place advertising, profiling, social-media or third-party analytics cookies. Each language has its own URL, so no cookie is used to remember language choice.

No consent panel is therefore displayed. If non-essential cookies are introduced later, they must be blocked until consent and genuine accept, reject and configure choices must be provided.

4. Accessibility

vasectomia.eus was designed with the aim of approaching WCAG 2.2 level AA: semantic structure, keyboard navigation, visible focus, contrast, responsive layout, alternative text and reduced motion. This is a design objective, not an external certificate of complete conformance.
